Ebbsfleet face the tough task of facing Gateshead and Luton in the space of four days.
The games come on the back of a difficult trip to Wrexham in Blue Square Bet Premier.
But boss Liam Daish (pictured) said: "It’s what this league is all about and you can’t talk it up or down any other way. We know what it’s all about."
Gateshead missed the chance to go five points clear at the top after they were beaten 4-1 by new leaders Wrexham on Tuesday.
Despite the defeat, Daish said: "I am not surprised Gateshead are up there. They have got a backer financing their team and investing in their squad."
Meanwhile, the Fleet boss has reacted coolly to stories linking Crystal Palace with Michael West and Tom Phipp.
Reports suggested the pair were set for a trial with the Eagles but Daish said: "We have had no direct contact with Palace and speculation, whispers and rumours don’t interest me."
