Bad weather is causing traffic problems this morning in and around the Gravesend area.

There are long delays on the A2 Watling Street in Gravesend, eastbound between Wrotham Road and Brewers Road.

It comes after a reported multi-vehicle accident in foggy and wet conditions.

There are also delays of about 30 minutes on the M2 westbound between the A228 at Strood and the A2 Watling Street, junction one of the M2.

The Highways Agency advises that normal traffic conditions should return from about 9am.
