Traffic towards London is queued back for miles on the A2 after a crash.

The westbound carriageway is gridlocked after an accident just past the exit for Gravesend Central.

Traffic has backed up as far as the M2 at Rochester and the A226 Gravesend Road is more busy as a result.

All lanes have now reopened, and traffic should start to move freely soon.
