Rail passengers in Kent faced major after a trespasser managed to wander for miles on the tracks.
The man was eventually arrested shortly before 9pm after several hours of disruption.
He managed to make his way from Northfleet to Ebbsfleet then through the Thames tunnel to Essex.
Southeastern suspended all services between between Ebbsfleet International and Gravesend.
The company said at the time: "The trespasser was seen heading to the High Speed tunnel that runs under the Thames.
"Disruption on the High Speed lines is expected to continue for a while.
"Please use alternative routes.
"You can use London Underground at no extra cost to help complete your journey."
British Transport Police spent several hours at the scene and the person was eventually arrested at around 9pm.
