Three fire crews freed a man from his car after a two vehicle crash in Longfield.
Traffic was backed up along Longfield Hill (B260) after the collision on Nurstead Lane at the junction with Longfield Hill.
Firefighters from Dartford and Thames-side were called at 8.12am.
They had to stabilize one of the cars before cutting it open using heavy rescue equipment to free the man inside.
SECAmb also attended with two ambulances and a car. They treated the man at the scene before taking him to Darent Valley Hospital.
