Two hurt in Hartley Hill crash

Two drivers had to be released after a head on crash blocked Hartley Hill near Longfield this morning.

The road was completely blocked by a milk float and a Transit van which had both been extensively damaged.

The drivers were not trapped, but were released by fire and rescue officers working with the ambulance service because of their inujuries.

It took an hour to get the two men into the ambulances.

They were taken to the Darent Valley Hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.
