Peter Loring, 20 and teenager charged with attempted murder after man stabbed in Milton Road, Gravesend

A man and a teenage boy have been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed during an assault in broad daylight.

The crime took place outside a bus stop in Milton Road, Gravesend, last Tuesday morning.

It is alleged a 17-year-old boy from Gravesend, whose name cannot be released for legal reasons, and Peter Loring, 20, of Hawthorn Road, Strood, attempted to take the man's life.

The victim who suffered multiple wounds, was treated at the scene before being airlifted to King’s College Hospital in London.

The pair were charged last Friday and will remain in custody before appearing at Maidstone Crown Court on March 6.

A group of six teenage boys, all from Gravesend, were arrested in connection with the incident, five of which have been bailed.
