The latest batch of UFO files have been released by the MOD.
In July 2008, a UFO was spotted over Cervia Way in Gravesend.
It was described as a "very bright white light" and then "another object joined it".
The report continues: "The light went dim, then the other one showed the light then they both went dim and disappeared."
The MOD responded saying: "I can confirm that we received no other reports of UFO sightings for Gravesend so far for 2008.
"We are satisfied that there is no corroborating evidence to suggest that the United Kingdom's airspace was breached by unauthorised aircraft."
Other cases reported include a man who said he was living with an alien in Carlisle, and a report of a UFO taking a dog, a car and a tent.
Another man recalled seeing a UFO in South Glamorgan in July 1954 and called in to report it in January 2008.
Other reports include a light that stayed in the sky for seven hours before disappearing in the morning; a bright light going at about the speed of a helicopter; a bright like that looked like a firework "but then it disappeared"; and something that was "definatly not a plain".
In December 2009 the UFO hotline closed down.
