Two fire engines are back at the scene of a massive blaze in Northfleet.

Crews returned to Shellen's in Lower Road on the Northfleet Industrial Estate today to deal with some smouldering hotspots which had emerged.

The building was destroyed in a blaze which broke out in the early hours of Saturday.

At one point, 50 firefighters were battling the flames.

The last pump stood down at 1.20pm yesterday (Sunday) after hours of damping down the site, but had to return after hotspots started to smoulder.

The cause is still being investigated.
