Robbers wielding a machete raided a store for the second time in just a few weeks.

Northfleet Food & Wine, in High Street, Northfleet, opposite The Hive, was targeted on Friday evening (January 20) in what is believed to be the second incident at the store in the last few weeks.

A 19-year-old man from Northfleet, who asked not to be named, said: "Apparently the man was threatened with a massive machete.

"It’s happened twice within the last two or three weeks.

"The other time they threatened [the same guy] with a knife and took the charity box.

"I think they got about 85p out of it."
