EDD Naylor, 18, was among 200 others who headed down to Vigo village green for an afternoon and evening of fun and games.

The event was held to help raise money for the Vigo Petanque Club which is hoping to extend its pistes to allow for international competitions.

Chairman Jayne Rixon said: “We had a band and barbecue in the evening which turned out to be a great success. The event helped to raise in excess of £1800.”
