Villagers have banded together to support those most in need.
Residents in Istead Rise, near Gravesend, have signed up to a community support scheme which will assist those who need help during the government-enforced lockdown.
Around 50 volunteers have signed up to the project since it was set up two and a half weeks ago.
It is being coordinated by ward councillor Dakota Dibben (Con) and the Istead Rise Community Association.
The purpose-built website allows people to sign up to volunteer their time or to reach out for help for themselves or a loved one who lives in the village.
Services on offer include picking up shopping, urgent supplies, collecting post and prescriptions, or even a offering someone a friendly chat.
Mr Dibben says people from as far away as Leeds have been getting in touch with him to ensure their family members are catered for.
He said: "Something I have noticed is people have come forward very quickly and it's also something we can implement very quickly.
"It's amazing how we have come together as a community."
