A sign welcoming people to Gravesend has been covered up, by a digital notice board right in front of it.

The clashing signs are located in Valley Drive, a stone's throw from Nell's Cafe off the Gravesend East turn off on the A2.

The 'Gravesend sign' would be one of the first things travellers see when they enter the town but thanks to the traffic board, their view is obscured.

While there are no real concerns that people will have trouble working out where they are the placement of the traffic sign is a strange decision by Kent County Council.
