Spring was blooming out all over in Southfleet on Saturday.
Members of Southfleet Gardeners’ Society held their annual seasonal show in the village hall and daffodils planted by parish councillors were in full bloom adding a splash of colour.
The standard of spring flowers was high, despite the recent cold blustery winds which have blown away some blooms.
The group started in 1938 under the Dig for Victory campaign before the start the Second World War which encouraged people to transform gardens, parks and sports pitches into allotments to grow vegetables.
