Hundreds of cyclists with a passion for mountain biking jumped on their bikes for a day of racing.
All ages took part at the competition at Gravesend’s Cyclopark, some as young as five.
The racers were placed into 10 categories first by age and then ability.
Cyclopark manager Anthony Muir was pleased that competitors and spectators enjoyed the racing.
He said:“It went really well. I think we had up to 40 riders in the under 14s’ race so that was really good and I think there were about 25 veteran riders.
“There was a national champion there too and the weather was great, so what’s not to like?”
Mr Muir said there was a growing interest in the sport.
He said:“It is encouraging. Club Cyclopark has about 200 members now, I think, so it does show that there is a lot of interest in cycling.”
Mr Muir thanked volunteers who helped out on the day as well as Club Cyclopark, Team Darenth and Oakley for their support.
