A woman fed up with a dog walker who had been regularly dropping a bag of dog poo opposite her home caught the culprit on camera.
Aiga Kolosova, of St Aidan’s Way, Gravesend, first noticed the regular deposits of animal waste in the road outside her house last winter.
Since then, she says the same woman has been spotted leaving the faeces in the same place.
Aiga believes the perpetrator may have thought she was hidden from view by a big tree and couldn’t be seen.
But not only could people see her, but she was caught on camera too.
Aiga, 38, said: “We’ve seen a new bag appearing every other day for a while, months on and off, and when we looked at the footage, we saw her doing it.
“It’s not always consecutive but it’s been happening for a long time.
“There’s a big tree that covers the view from the windows of our house and our neighbours’ and she probably thinks that nobody sees when she drops the bags there.”
The footage shows an unidentifiable woman in all-black clothing walking a small white dog and dumping the poo bag into the road as she continues to walk on the pavement.
Aiga posted the footage on Facebook, and wrote: “I find it disgusting. Please, please, put it in the bin.
“It’s not that heavy to carry it to the nearest bin.”
Since the video has been shared online, Aiga says she hasn’t seen a new bag since and thinks it’s possible the perpetrator has been deterred after seeing the footage.
