Police and paramedics were called to a collision in which a woman was injured.

Two cars collided into each other at the junction between Highview and Erskine Road in Vigo Village.

A woman was taken to hospital for her injuries, which are not thought to be serious.

It happened happened around 3.50pm.

Two police cars and two ambulances were sent to the scene.

Officers are still in attendance and the junction is blocked, and motorists are advised to use an alternative route.
