Police are investigating a robbery in Gravesend after a woman reported her phone and some money had been taken.

Officers are making inquiries after the items were reported stolen in the area of Palmer Avenue just before 11am.

According to reports, the woman was pushed against a wall and stabbed in the leg.

A police spokeswoman said: "Inquiries are ongoing."
