A woman was taken to hospital after damaging her spine when she fell from a horse.
An air ambulance was scrambled after the woman, thought to be in her 30s, fell from the animal during what is thought to have been a midday horse trial in the private Nurstead Court estate on Saturday, April 30.
Private ambulance medics called for the Marden-based air ambulance whose team gave her anti-sickness and pain killing drugs before flying her to King’s College Hospital, London.
The hospital has a specialist spinal injury unit.
The estate, in Nurstead Church Lane, Meopham, is home to a Grade I listed medieval hall and farm set in 400 acres of farmland.
