Emergency services were called to Wrotham Road last night after a car crash.
It happened at about 9.50pm and involved one car with a female driver in her 50s.
Crews from the fire brigade said they stabilised the vehicle and made the scene safe while paramedics assessed the casualty, who was not trapped, but unable to free herself.
As a precaution, firefighters assisted paramedics in placing the casualty on a spinal longboard and she was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.
It is understood that she has not suffered serious injuries.
Police closed the road while the rescue took place.
