A bus company had to suspend services after four vehicles had their windows smashed.

The vehicles were pelted with stones and eggs in two parts of Gravesend – in Valley Drive and close to the Cascades Leisure Centre in Thong Lane.

The attacks happened between 8pm and 9pm on Monday.

The buses were all in service at the time, although fortunately there are no reports of any injuries.

Arriva stopped its services at the Lion Garage and did not serve Valley Drive or Cascades that evening.

Police have been asked for more details.
