Ebbsfleet's lack of cutting edge in front of goal was again evident as they suffered a 1-0 defeat at York in the Blue Square Premier on Saturday.
Manager Liam Daish (pictured) was unsuccessful in bringing in a new striker ahead of the game and, as so often been the case this season, Fleet lacked the necessary firepower.
They were unable to create any clear-cut chances and have now gone six games without scoring.
The only goal of the match came after 37 minutes when Alex Lawless found Michael Rankine and he netted from inside the penalty area.
Fleet matched their opponents throughout and will feel unfortunate to return home empty-handed as they made it 12 games without a win.
