A young mother found dead at her home in Gravesend has been named.

Syeda Lipia Begum's body was discovered by police at an address in Hampton Crescent, at about 9pm on Friday, August 14.

The 23-year-old, who leaves a five-year-old son and a two-month-old daughter, was identified in a post-mortem at Darent Valley Hospital yesterday (Wednesday).

Aminur Rahman Bachchu, who is believed to be her husband, was arrested shortly after her body was found. The 34-year-old has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, September 1.
