Charlton boss Bob Peeters was pleased with his side's second-half display as they fought back from a goal down against Sheffield Wednesday.
Former Dutch international, and Real Madrid wideman, Royston Drenthe gave Wednesday a deserved lead in the 27th minute, firing home from outside the box.
Charlton applied pressure after the break with George Tucudean hitting the bar before Vetokele came off the bench to score his seventh of the season with 20 minutes remaining to earn a point.
Peeters said: "We thought we could go and get a second and that’s the only thing we didn’t do. I was very pleased with the second half."
The results leaves Charlton ninth in the Championship table, just three points off the play-offs.
