Despite producing a below-par performance against lowly Beckenham on Saturday, Gravesend moved into second place in London 2 South with a 31-25 victory.

Gary Gray scored two early converted tries to give the home side a flying start. Beckenham improved and at the end Gravesend were hanging on.
