Steve Brown can't hide his frustration as another chance goes begging

Ebbsfleet boss Steve Brown has lost patience with some of his players and is ready to head back into the transfer market.

The Fleet have won just one of their first eight games in The Skrill South and Brown admitted after Tuesday’s 2-0 home defeat to Chelmsford that personnel changes were now needed.

He said: "I’ve taken on the job, I’ve brought in these players and I’ll take responsibility for all that’s happening out there.

"But I’ve given the players more than enough time here, more than enough chances and I’m going to have to make some changes.

"The time for being patient and waiting for people to deliver has perhaps passed.

"If you feel like you haven’t got the resources within your squad, you have to look elsewhere.

"My phone was busy on Tuesday. A few options came in for loan deals and I might have to seriously look at taking some of them up."
