Ebbsfleet United manager Jamie Day says next three fixtures against Havant, Concord and Whitehawk will decide play-off fate this season

Ebbsfleet boss Jamie Day believes the next three games will determine whether his team make the play-offs.
The Fleet face three rivals between now and Good Friday with Day knowing his team are still playing catch-up if they are to win promotion this season.
He said: “We’re probably six or seven points away from where I wanted to be. But we’ve clawed ourselves back in and given ourselves a chance. We’ve got Havant, Concord and Whitehawk coming up and we need to win a couple of those games."
Day believes the Fleet could need as many as 70 points but he knows his team need to pick up at least five victories from their last eight games, starting at Havant this Saturday.
“Havant is one of those games where we can claw three points back," he said. “It’s important we don’t get beaten but we can’t be over-cautious and we’ll have our own game plan."
After back-to-back wins for the first time since he joined the Fleet, Day knows his team need to continue their recent improvement to have any chance of making the top five. They are currently seven points off with a game in hand.
Defender Kenny Clark is available after suspension for the trip to Havant but Day is keen to arrange a friendly before bringing back Aiden Palmer or Michael West, who are both training again after long-term injuries.
Day’s hand with Palmer could be forced if Welling recall left-back Ben Jefford from his loan spell following Jamal Fyfield’s injury.
