DAISH: "I’ve had to ask questions of the lads and they’ve bounced back"

Gravesend & Northfleet v Woking

GRAVESEND host Woking on Saturday as manager Liam Daish looks to bury the disappointment of their last home performance.

The club’s previous appearance at Stonebridge Road ended with a 4-1 defeat to Stafford but after Saturday’s 1-0 win at Burton, Daish is hopeful of an improvement on home turf from his young chargers.

He said: "I’ve had to ask questions of the lads and they’ve bounced back after the Weymouth game before and now after the Stafford one.

"They’re a young team and if they have a disappointment it doesn’t last for long and they’re up and at it straight away.

"Woking had a big win against Aldershot but then they also lost to Stafford and it’ll be a tough game."
