Liam Daish won successive promotions while at Cambridge

Gravesend & Northfleet v Cambridge United

BOSS Liam Daish will face his old club Cambridge United at Stonebridge Road on Saturday, with Gravesend looking to bounce back from Wednesday night’s 2-1 defeat at Weymouth.

Daish, who helped Cambridge to successive promotions in his time as a player at the club, could be without influential midfielder Mark DeBolla after he limped off in the 22nd minute at Weymouth.

But he will be hoping the rest of the squad can recover from Fleet’s first defeat since August 19 and climb up the Conference table.
