Ebbsfleet’s injury list is finally shrinking and manager Steve Brown might only be missing two players for Saturday’s trip to Whitehawk.

Midfielder Michael West (knee) is out until Christmas and striker Ben May is still struggling with a knee injury.

But defender Joe Howe (calf) has resumed training, while Billy Bricknell (ankle), Dean Rance (knee) and Shane Huke (back) were all involved against Havant & Waterlooville last weekend.

Brown said: "It’s great that we haven’t had a game this week. They’re all coming back now. We’ve hit that turning point where everybody’s slowly coming back.

"We’ve got Westy’s one with the Christmas time period but next week we’ll just have West and May injured. The rest will be coming back, training full-time and looking to get in the side."

Rance’s knee injury is still a concern for Brown.

He said: "We’ve done all we can to the point where you don’t have surgery. If it breaks down again, then it’s surgery."
