Fleet back to winning ways

Burton Albion 0 Gravesend & Northfleet 1
DANNY SLATTER'S second half strike was enough for Gravesend to come away from their Nationwide Conference trip to Burton Albion with maximum points on Saturday.
Slatter won the match with an unstoppable shot in the 69th mintute after a fine move involving Rob Quinn and Liam Coleman.
Before that, Charlie MacDonald was desperately unlucky to see his shot cannon back off a post after he got away from his marker.
Fleet had keeper Lance Cronin to thank for keeping the scoreline level after 20 minutes when he produced a superb save to deny Burton's Jon Shaw.
Then the home side should have taken the lead on the stroke of half-time when Gary Rowett stole in unmarked at the far post but he sent his free header over the crossbar.
Gravesend: Cronin, J Smith, McCarthy, Hawkins (Sodje 90), Ricketts, Opinel, Slatter, Quinn, Coleman, Moore, MacDonald.
Subs not used: Mott, Purcell, Anderson, Ekoku.
