Olagunju impressed in defence for the Fleet before being recalled to go on loan to League 2 Crawley - but he only featured for 10 minutes at the club who went on to win promotion via the play-offs.

The 22-year-old played nine times for Ebbsfleet last season, all under former boss Dennis Kutrieb, but he proved himself to be an accomplished performer at National League level.

Ebbsfleet signed the versatile Charles Ondo, also a free agent after being released by Huddersfield, prior to Saturday’s home defeat with FC Halifax. Ondo made his debut, coming on for the final half-hour.
