GRAVESEND could only take a point from their Nationwide Conference clash against Scunthorpe at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.
Both sides had chances to win the game, but there was little goalmouth action and Fleet have now failed to score in 180 minutes.
Scarborough player-manager Neil Redfearn hit the bar with an early free-kick before Ross Smith had to clear off the line from David McNiven.
Gravesend's Mark Rawle shot straight at Scarborough keeper Ian Dunbavin from a tight angle in the first half and Andy Drury's header early in the second period went just wide.
Steve McKimm, just back from long-term injury, also headed wide from Drury's cross on the hour mark.
The kick-off was delayed because the visitors got stuck in traffic on the M11.
Gravesend: Holloway, Gooding, McCarthy, R Smith, Watkins, Slatter (Jackson h-t), Bowry, Drury, McKimm (Johnson 84), Sodje (Moore 55), Rawle.
Subs Not Used: Kerr, J Smith.
Attendance: 930.
