Liam Daish is looking for the right response after Saturday's defeat

Ebbsfleet v Histon

Ebbsfleet get the chance to bounce back from Saturday’s 2-0 defeat against Altrincham in tonight’s televised match at home to Histon.

Saturday's reverse ended a three-match unbeaten run in the Blue Square Premier for Liam Daish’s side and they face a difficult test this evening as they aim to maintain their unbeaten home record in the league with a win against one of the division’s surprise packages.

Histon sit fifth in the table, although they have endured a mixed run of results away from home.

Daish was sent off at Altrincham after an altercation with a home player as his side trailed 2-0 at the break.

“It was certainly a bad day at the office and one we’ll want to get out of the system very quickly,” he said.

Central defender Paul McCarthy returns to the squad tonight after missing the weekend’s game through suspension.

The match is live on Setanta Sports. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
