Steve Brown hailed Ebbsfleet's performance against Sutton as their best of the season.
Goals from Billy Bricknell (2) and Anthony Cook fired the Fleet to a 3-0 win over one of their main promotion rivals in Vanarama Conference South.
The result lifted Ebbsfleet into the play-offs and Brown was beaming after the game.
He said: "We kept possession well and we played some really good football. We looked relaxed out there. We looked like the pressure wasn’t there. That’s what we can achieve. There were some passages of play when we got the ball down and we passed it and we looked good.
"As an all-round performance, that was probably our best of the season. Football-wise, discipline-wise and shape-wise, it was excellent.
"We restricted them to very few chances. That’s always pleasing because it gives you a platform to go on and win games.
"When we get our noses in front, we are extremely difficult to break down. We don’t allow teams to get back into the game too often.
"Once we went 2-0 up in the first half, it was just a case of making sure our set-up in the second half was correct and it was spot-on. There were some fantastic counters in the second half and I thought that if we used the ball slightly better, we could have got four and five."
Ebbsfleet's next game is their FA Cup second qualifying round tie at home to Hythe Town on Saturday.
