Gravesend & Northfleet 0 Aldershot 3
TWO goals either side of the half-time interval set Aldershot on their way to a convincing victory over Gravesend at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.
The visitors took the lead against the run of play in the 45th minute when the Fleet defence was caught napping and Steve Watsons crossed for Ryan Williams to score from close range.
Williams doubled the lead less than a minute after the restart when he shot high into Craig Holloway's goal.
And it got even worse for the Fleet in the 55th minute when Kirk Hudson got on the end of Leroy Griffiths's pass to make it 3-0.
Liam Daish's side had suffered an early blow when Mark Rawle, the only recognised striker in the squad, was stretchered off after 18 minutes.
