Alex Osborn is on Ebbsfleet manager Steve Brown’s summer shopping list after completing a successful season on loan at Stonebridge Road.

The 20-year-old is contracted to Dagenham & Redbridge but the League 2 club are about to let him go.

Osborn made 47 appearances for the Fleet last season – including 33 starts – scoring five goals and manager Steve Brown wants to keep hold of the winger.

He said: "Alex has been told that Dagenham will not be signing him next year and we will make a move for Alex and offer him something across the summer."

It’s a different story, however, for Cypriot striker Michael Thalassitis, who scored 11 goals in 43 appearances during his season-long loan from Stevenage.

Brown said: "Michael is still a Stevenage player. They have an option on Michael, he’s under contract to them. I believe we finish on May 31 with Michael.

"They’ve just been relegated to League 2, so they might see him as a League 2 striker. That’ll be open to discussion."
