GRAVESEND & Northfleet face losing midfielder Craig Rocastle after he was recommended to Queens Park Rangers by Gillingham assistant manager Richard Hill.

Rocastle played for Gillingham in a couple of pre-season friendlies before being released and joining the Fleet.

Manager Andy Ford, who intended including Rocastle in his squad for tonight's home game with Heybridge Swifts, said: "Apparently Richard Hill has recommended Craig to Queens Park Rangers and he's gone there for trials. If it doesn't happen for him there, he will probably move on to another league club because that's where he sees his future."

The Fleet, who moved into fifth place in the Ryman League, Premier Division, with Saturday's 3-0 win at Maidenhead, will be wanting to register a first home win tonight following three away successes.

Craig Wilkins remains out of contention with a head injury sustained at Aldershot but Lee Spiller returns to the squad after missing Saturday's match to attend a wedding.

Tonight's match kicks off at 7.30pm after the Fleet agreed to a request from Heybridge for an early kick off.
