FANS’ cult-hero Justin Skinner has won Gravesend and Northfleet’s Player of the Year accolade.
The 32-year-old left-back received the trophy from club main sponsor Victor Gladwish at Friday’s annual awards night, held for the first time at the newly purchased Fleet Leisure.
The former Wimbledon, Bournemouth and Wycombe player proved a popular choice among the 250 fans who attended.
Skinner is in his second spell with the Fleet having initially signed from Aylesbury United. He finished last season as the Nationwide Conference’s leading penalty scorer with six from the spot.
Defender Jay Saunders, who has made such a big impact since his arrival at Stonebridge Road from Margate, won the Players’ Player award.
Midfielder Andy Drury collected the Young Player trophy.
Luke Moore, who broke into the squad last season, won the club’s PASE Player of the Year award and the PASE Players’ Player trophy.
