The 17-year-old from Gravesend triumphed in the uneven bars final in Australia this morning.

It's her second medal of the Gold Coast Games after helping England win team silver.

Fenton's brilliant routine secured a score of 14.600 points and saw her take the title ahead of Canadian Brittany Rogers (14.200) and Georgia Goodwin (13.433) of Australia.

The teenager, who learned her trade at Meapa Gymnastics Club, had high hopes on uneven bars going into the Games.

She said: "I know the bars final is on April 8 because it's my mum's birthday. To medal on bars would be amazing."
