Hartley Country Club have extended their lead at the top of the Kent League Premier Division.

Andy Tutt's side are now 16 points clear after beating Blackheath by 123 runs on Saturday.

Overseas player Nick Hendrie (74) and the prolific James Hockley (57) helped Hartley to 222-6 at Culvey Close before Blackheath collapsed to 99 all out.

Beckenham climbed two places to second with an easy win away to struggling Sandwich Town.

William MacVicar claimed 4-10 as Sandwich slumped to 75 all out and skipper Johan Malcolm then scored an unbeaten 47 to help Beckenham race to 76-1 in 16.1 overs.

Sandwich are now just two points above basement boys Folkestone who ran out of time in their run-chase against Bromley at the County Ground.

Chasing 202 for victory, Folkestone closed their 50 overs on 179-9, with Bromley's Nathan Hill picking up 5-36.

Earlier, the visitors had been bowled out for 201 with Sean Griffin (62) and Freddie Wilson (42) top-scoring.

The day's other game saw Lordswood beat Bexley by 88 runs at Martyn Grove.

Lordswood's top order fired them to 248-6, with Sean Dixon (76), Greg Smith (57) and Chris Piesley (57) all registering half-centuries.
