Shane Huke and Michael Corcoran are the latest players to leave Ebbsfleet United.

Both have been told they are free to speak to other clubs as manager Jamie Day continues to trim his squad for the Vanarama Conference South run-in.

Huke was one of Steve Brown's first-choice centre-halves at the start of last season following his move across Kent from Dover Athletic.

His campaign was interrupted by a metatarsal injury although he returned to feature in the play-offs.

Huke made a total of 41 appearances for Fleet, scoring four goals.

He said: "I’d like to thank the fans and the club in particular for their support, especially through the long period I was laid off with my metatarsal injury and I wish them all the best in the future."

Meanwhile, Corcoran leaves the PHB Stadium having played 43 times for Ebbsfleet. The midfielder was used mainly as a squad player and 17 of his appearances were as a substitute.

He said: "I’ve really enjoyed my time at the Fleet and I leave wishing the club nothing but good times."

Ebbsfleet vice-chairman Peter Varney said: "All the players who are leaving the club can be proud of their achievements and efforts in a Fleet shirt.

"Shane and Michael were excellent professionals and I trust their future careers will bring them every success."

Striker Ben May also left Ebbsfleet on Wednesday while winger Alex Osborn was loaned out to Concord Rangers for a month. Those departures follow Billy Bricknell's exit from the PHB Stadium on Tuesday.
