Derby matchwinner Andy Drury hailed Ebbsfleet's movement as the key to their victory against Dover.

Fleet dominated long spells of Monday's game and had Whites chasing shadows at times.

"We got the ball down and played some good football," Drury said. "With their man-marking system, you have to move them around.

"When you are man-marking, you look at the player and you look at the ball and it's tough to do that all the time when the ball's getting moved around and we did that well.

"Corey Whitely and Luke Coulson got into little holes and they didn't know what to do. We caused them a lot of problems.

"We created a lot of chances and in the second half we got our goal and were still the better team until the last 5-10 minutes.

"Even then, they were just lumping the ball forward all the time and they got a goal which I don't think they deserved.

"Luckily we went up the other end and scored."

Four of five added minutes had been played when Keanu Marsh-Brown equalised from the penalty spot but there was still time for Drury to convert Myles Weston's free-kick for the most dramatic of winners.

"It was a bit crazy," he admitted. "It fell to me at the back post and I slid it through the keeper's legs.

"I got a good connection on it and luckily it went in. It was a brilliant feeling."

Drury added: "We've done a lot of work over the last seven games to get ourselves into the (play-off) picture. It's still on.

"We were outsiders and we'll just keep going. We're on a good run and hopefully we can get in there."
