GRAVESEND & Northfleet manager Andy Ford has made a quick start to team strengthening for next season.

He has brought midfielder Jay Saunders back to Stonebridge Road from Kent Nationwide Conference rivals Margate.

A week after the season's end, Ford wasted no time in moving for Saunders, a former Gillingham junior, who played under the Fleet boss for one season before joining Margate for the start of the 1997-98 season.
