Loan striker Michael Thalassitis is in the form of his life and believes Ebbsfleet can win the Skrill South title.

The Cyprus under-21 international has scored six times in his last eight games and his goals have fired the Fleet firmly into promotion contention.

Thalassitis, 20, on a season-long loan from League 1 Stevenage, took a while to win over the Stonebridge Road faithful - but now he’s flying.

He said: "I’ve never had a run of form like this. I can’t take all the credit but it’s nice to be scoring the goals.

"At the beginning of the season, I played my way out of the team. I was too inconsistent and I hadn’t scored from open play.

"I got a groin injury and that affected me. I wasn’t feeling sharp but now I do and I feel like I’m going to beat my man every time."
