FORMER Queens Park Rangers winger Ben Walshe is one of three players leaving Gravesend in the summer.

Walshe, 20, is not being offered a contract having joined the Fleet initially on loan having been a regular in Rangers' reserve side after joining the club as a trainee.

Also leaving is midfielder Steve Perkins who is emigrating to Australia. He joined the club from fellow Conference club Aldershot in August last year.

Perkins started his career with Northern League Burscough before going on to play Plymouth Argyle, Stevenage, Woking and Dagenham & Rebridge.

Fellow midfielder Rob Owen is leaving to go travelling but could return to the fold.

A former Gillingham youth team player, he had two spells with Sittingbourne in between playing for Tonbridge. He signed for the Fleet during the 2000-2001 season.

But Gravesend are hoping to retain midfielder Moussa Sidibe, brother of the Gillingham striker.
