The Fleet called time on Garry Hill's tenure at Stonebridge Road after 11 months in charge with the club bottom of the National League.

It had been a tough period with financial problems at Ebbsfleet making summer recruitment difficult for Hill, whose side have won just twice in 16 games this term.

Down the road, Dartford finally got their man after a month-long search, naming Steve King to succeed Jamie Coyle and Adam Flanagan.

Former Lewes and Macclesfield manager King is well known locally having managed rivals Welling last season, steering the Wings to third spot and play-off final defeat at Woking in his only season in charge at Park View Road.
