Former Tonbridge Angels manager Tommy Warrilow has joined Ebbsfleet United as chief scout.

Warrilow quit Longmead at the end of last season after Angels were relegated from Conference South.

He's a good friend of Fleet boss Steve Brown and has now returned to the club where he had three spells as a player - when the club were called Gravesend & Northfleet.

Brown said: "We need to have an experienced individual who knows football at this level and who I can trust to assess opposition teams and to generally scout for players.

"Tommy has a wealth of experience at this level and is a fantastic addition to my management team and I am really looking forward to working with him."

Ebbsfleet are at home to Havant & Waterlooville in Vanarama Conference South on Saturday.
