Ampofo Athletic moved into second place in Division 2 after a five-goal thriller against bottom side Courthouse.
The game, one of only four that went ahead because of heavy rain, was dominated by Steve Earl-Stapley who netted a hat-trick. Dave Dyer and Phil Fletcher kept it close for Courthouse.
In Division 3 Bill Bennett’s four goals set Hartley Athletic on their way to a 5-2 victory at AFC Rose. Joe Cordingley was also on target while Rob Penny and Gareth Lewis replied for the Dartford side.
It was a case of opportunity lost for Ye Olde Leather Bottel. They missed out on the Division 4 top spot after losing by four clear goals at home to Milton and Denton Reserves. Bateman (2), Winter and Atfield secured the points.
Rising Sun closed in on the leading two sides after a 5-3 win over Phoenix Knights. Daniel and Joe Coughlin, Dom O’Neill, Matt Scott and a Phoenix defender scored for Rising Sun with Chris Hills, Danny Chaley and Tony Camps reducing the arrears.
