Big fight night for Dhami

THE big one! That's how Kent's Harry Dhami sees his British welterweight title fight against Belfast's Neil Sinclair tonight. The Gravesend fighter would become the first British Asian to win the Lonsdale belt outright if he is successful in his third defence.

Victory would also put him in line for a European title shot and make the sport's big chiefs sit up and take notice. With so much at stake Dhami is leaving nothing to chance in a fight that he sees as the biggest of his career so far. He said: "This is the big one. All the preparations are done and I'm ready to go.

"I've locked myself away for this fight and I've just been concentration on me and everything has gone really well. This is the most important fight of my career and I've prepared to the best of my ability and I'm in the best shape of my career.

"It was an honour to be the first ever British Asian champion but I want to be a world champion. I'm going all out to win and I'm 100 per cent confident of bringing the title home."
